Role Summary

You will operate several different machines for the company. The main goal of this job is flexibility. You must be willing to learn multiple machines based on department needs. Your tasks will cover workload changes, vacations, and other challenges. You must have mechanical aptitude and be trainable.

Key Responsibilities

You will perform various production tasks:

• Operate machines like the Saw, Brinnell, ID Blast, and OD Blast proficiently.
• Perform cleaning duties as assigned by the Group Lead or Foreman.
• Handle materials as needed for production flow.
• Follow Production Data Sheets or Routing sheets exactly.
• Record information and perform simple data entry into the inventory system.
• Read measuring tape in standard inches and fractions.
• Read and calculate weights from a scale.
• Differentiate between various steel grades and products.
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements & Qualifications

To be the ideal candidate, you should meet these standards:

• Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Skills: You can read, write, and comprehend instructions. You can perform basic math.
• Certifications: Certification in overhead crane operation and forklift is required.
• Training: You must complete Hazcom and other machine-specific safety training.
• Physical Demand: You must frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds. You will use an overhead crane to move steel tubes.
