Role Summary

You are a skilled Service Technician II serving the Long Island area. You must have proven **Caterpillar Natural Gas Engine** repair experience. You will troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and mechanical problems. You will maintain equipment for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), and Hydrogen fueling stations.

Key Responsibilities

You will execute expert-level diagnostics and repair:

• **Electrical Work:** Diagnose and repair problems like ground faults, current overloads, and open circuits. You must understand and correct issues in **PLC** operation and relay logic.
• **Mechanical Work:** Diagnose and repair high and low pressure gas flow issues. You must understand and correct operational trends in reciprocating and screw type gas compressors.
• Inspect and adjust electrical and mechanical equipment for safe use.
• Make regular inspections and record operational data (pressures, temperatures).
• Detect and correct faulty components in CNG, LNG, and Hydrogen equipment.
• Clean and maintain fueling locations, including polishing equipment and managing trash.
• Document all service orders and work performed in the **FSA** software.
• Drive to or between company sites to perform job responsibilities.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be the ideal candidate, you should meet these standards:

• Experience: Minimum 4 years of related experience.
• Certification: **Caterpillar Natural Gas Engine** repair and troubleshooting experience is required.
• Knowledge: You must have a strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• License: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
• Physical Demand: You must frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally move up to 75 pounds (with assistance).
