Role Summary
You will serve as a Senior Accountant managing key parts of the financial close process. You will oversee accuracy and completeness for journal entries and reconciliations. You must ensure the company meets all internal and external reporting requirements. This position plays a key role in maintaining SOX 404 compliance.
Key Responsibilities
You will manage financial accuracy and reporting:
- Oversee all journal entries, account reconciliations, and analyses.
- Serve as a project lead for accounting tasks as needed.
- Ensure correct foreign currency, elimination entries, and expense allocations during month-end close.
- Develop new procedures to shorten the current closing process.
- Actively contribute to developing global accounting policies.
- Support year-end audits and quarterly reviews by preparing schedules.
- Help with both internal (Month Financial Package) and external reporting (Form 10-K, 10-Q).
- Actively follow written policies and internal controls to ensure SOX 404 compliance.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be the ideal candidate, you should meet these standards:
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- Experience: You need at least 2 years of related experience.
- Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
- Skills: You must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 is preferred.
- Reasoning: You must be able to solve complex problems and determine tax compliance needs independently.
