Role Summary

You will oversee all aspects of plant operations in this senior leadership role. You must ensure safe, efficient, and reliable LNG production. You will lead the team of plant operators and maintenance technicians. Your responsibilities include safety, security, compliance with agencies like OSHA and PHMSA, and financial management. You must maintain process discipline and a strong safety culture at the facility.

Key Responsibilities

You will direct operations, finance, and regulatory compliance:

• Direct and perform commercial and financial activities, including budgeting and procurement.
• Ensure all safety, security, and training procedures meet required regulations.
• Review and analyze operational data (temperatures, pressures) and direct necessary corrections.
• Review daily reports on plant productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Diagnose equipment problems during emergencies and direct activities to restore normal operation.
• Administer major plant contracts and oversee operating and capital budgets.
• Manage all operational activity through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Serve as the primary contact for permitting and regulatory agencies.
• Identify training needs and lead employee development.
• Directly supervise the team, including hiring, training, and performance reviews.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be the ideal candidate, you should meet these standards:

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field is required.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of related experience and a minimum of 8 years of management experience are required.
• Leadership: You must be able to lead and motivate plant personnel.
• Physical Demand: You must be able to stand and climb regularly. You may need to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.
• Travel: Flexibility for domestic travel up to 10% may be required.
