We are looking for a Service Technician I to join our team in Washington, DC. If you have experience with HVAC, electrical work, or Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), we want to hear from you.

Role Summary

In this role, you will keep our fueling stations running safely. You will inspect, maintain, and fix mechanical and electrical equipment. You will work on compressors, pumps, and dispensers. You will also clean the stations and track your work in our software system. This job requires travel between sites and on-call availability.

Key Responsibilities

You will support our maintenance team with the following tasks:

• Inspect electrical parts like wiring, panels, and switches.
• Repair or replace broken electrical components.
• Check mechanical equipment like compressors, pumps, and engines.
• Fix mechanical issues to ensure smooth operation.
• Diagnose problems with CNG and LNG equipment.
• Perform scheduled inspections to catch issues early.
• Clean fueling locations and keep them tidy.
• Drive to different sites to perform repairs.
• Log all activities and service orders in our software.
• Be available for on-call shifts and potential overtime.

Qualifications & Skills

To succeed in this role, you should have the following background:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems is required.
• Computer Skills: You must be comfortable using service software and Microsoft Office.
• Driver License: A valid driver’s license with a clean record is required.
• Communication: You can write simple reports and speak clearly to customers.
• Math Skills: You can calculate rates, ratios, and percentages.

Work Environment

You will work in a physical environment with moderate to high noise levels. You must be able to walk, sit, stand, and climb. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally. Safety is our top priority.
