Certarus leads North America in low-carbon energy. We safely deliver Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), and hydrogen. We help industrial customers lower costs and improve environmental performance. You will maintain the largest fleet of specialty trailers in the world.

Role Summary

You will maintain and repair our trucks and trailers. This is an essential role based in the Watford City, ND Hub. Your duties include daily maintenance, diagnostic testing, and managing inventory. You will report to the Regional Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities

You will handle all aspects of fleet maintenance:

• Diagnose complex problems with heavy vehicles and schedule necessary repairs.
• Perform major and minor repairs on company trucks and specialty trailers.
• Conduct regular diagnostic tests using computer programs.
• Complete Commercial Vehicle Inspections (CVIs) and quarterly inspections.
• Keep equipment ready for use by completing preventative maintenance (PMs).
• Manage shop parts inventory and company vehicle maintenance.
• Operate a forklift as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be the ideal candidate, you should meet these standards:

• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of diesel mechanic experience with heavy vehicles.
• Engine Knowledge: Experience maintaining Cummins diesel, Peterbilt, and Freightliner vehicles.
• Technical Skills: You can diagnose and repair engines, electrical systems, and brake components.
• Software: Familiarity with computer diagnosis programs like Davie 4 and Cummins Insite.
• Certifications: ASE Diesel certification (T2 and T6 focus) is a valuable asset.
• Safety Record: You must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR & PSP).

Work Schedule

You will report daily to the Watford City Hub. You may travel into the field for service calls using a company-provided vehicle. You get a set shift schedule that allows you to be home at the end of each shift.
