Role Summary

You will become a subject matter expert on gas compression. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on our CNG compression assets. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation systems. You must ensure the safe and consistent operation of all CNG equipment. You will report to the Compression Manager.

Work Schedule

This position works a 14 days on, 14 days off rotation schedule. You will travel regionally between Certarus compression hubs daily. Travel outside of the assigned region is also possible.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties focus on maintaining the compression assets:

• Perform safe and consistent maintenance on CNG compression equipment.
• Troubleshoot recurring mechanical and intermittent component issues.
• Handle broad electrical, PLC, and instrumentation troubleshooting when necessary.
• Inspect used parts using measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers.
• Manage and maintain the spares parts and materials inventory.
• Complete commissioning and end-of-service inspections for assets.
• Prepare detailed maintenance reports and enter them into the CMMS (Computer Management Maintenance System).
• Maintain a high level of equipment housekeeping and cleanliness.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be the ideal candidate, you should meet these standards:

• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of field service gas compressor experience.
• Specialized Knowledge: Experience with Waukesha VGF and Ariel systems is a strong advantage.
• Communication: You need excellent organizational and technical communication skills.
• Skills: You must be able to communicate in English and have basic computer skills (MS 365).
• Attitude: You must have a positive, safe, and analytical work ethic.
